Homework has a double meaning. The obvious one, which is school work that is done at home. The not-so-obvious meaning is the acronym. It stands for: Half Of My Energy Wasted On Random Knowledge.

The definition of pain and suffering where you get nothing in return. It's basically child labor but for writing and the teachers give way too much homework now. The only time in school where you do not "Learn" which is just sitting in the same place and doing labor" is recess which is not that long and there are like only 4 activities

1) An after-school assignment, typically used as a method of torture legal in every part of the world.
2) A violation of the 8th amendment
3) The second worst thing the Germans have done. (Yes, Germans introduced modern homework to the U.S., not the Italians)
4) A common way of starting small talk
5) An excuse to go over to a girl's house (and do anything but homework, usually bang)
