Tupac Shakur IS KNOWN for his rap music. He uses the media to speak toward the greater audience. Removing his poem and song lyrics is like removing his chance to speak and make a difference in the world. That is what we have to acknowledge and keep. Therefore, the addition of his lyrics is what he is trying to meaningfully say in a clever rhythmic way. One may hear his songs as good music, but inside, the music has a direct message of everyday struggles and lifestyles toward the audience. He may be not with us today, but he is still alive through his voice -- what he has spoken, what he has meant though literature from music. It only seems that the quotes are a lot; he has a lot of important messages to say!
How can you edit 2Pac without first listening to him? How can you edit the influential things he had said without actually learning the roots of where he has come from? They are the basis of editing a person's quotes. You have to be on the same level of 2Pac to understand what he had said and how he felt when he said it.

Until recently, I used to listen to Eminem, like everyone else in my school. Then one day, I realised, "This music is shit! Why am I listening to this?"
This lead me to realise something: White people can't rap. I'm white myself, but I realise there are some things which certain people are destined to do. Rapping is something that black people are destined to do. Now I listen to Eminem, it just seems... well, wrong.
Looking for someone new to listen to on my stereo, a friend of mine introduced me to 2Pac. It's not that I hadn't heard of him before, I just hadn't really listened to his music. My friend played it, and I felt myself completely lost in the music, a sensation I'd never felt with listening to Eminems music. Straight afterwards, I got the album my friend had got me, '2Pacs Greatest Hits'. I listened to the album constantly for 2 months counting. Seriously, if you don't listen to 2Pac already, go out and buy an album of his. He really is a legend. A lot of people still reckon he's alive, but I think he's dead. It's a sad fact that such a great talent died so young, but his music will live on for generations to come.
At time of posting, Ghetto Gospel is going to be released soon. Go out and buy it. I know I will. Really, 2Pac was sheer genius. Why do you think all the defenitions below say stuff like 'Greatest Rapper Ever','The leader of this rap shit' etc. But don't take our word for it. Go out and buy a 2Pac album.
The best rapper who ever lived.
Period.
2Pac is the best rapper ever. Enough said.

2Pac(his full name is Tupac Amaru Shakur) Tupac is arguably the most successful rap artist of all time if not one of the most successful music artist in history with over 75 million albums sold to date. Many people people have identified with retelling of tragedy, struggle, violence, death, poverty, racism, revolution, and overall the imperfections of society. He seemed to captivate millions with lyrics and poetry so believe to be so inspiring that few could compare. Unlike the popular and mostly ignorant thoughts projected by society, Tupac was very intelligent educated and at the age 17 had most likely read more books than the average first year Ivy league student. Many people wish to critize his works however usually have not read or tooken the time analyze some his greatest works. Tupac's short and climatic life is usually summerized and rarely deeply considered. He was an adovate for the entire poetic nature of a generation, however the violent aspect of his music is usually magnified and the poetic nature was understated. People only seen the drugs and ghettos and never the pain and deep emotion. Lesser rapper took Tupac's unique and very influnecial syle of rap and some tranformed it it into a chain of destructive and short lived rap careers that would come to shame all that Tupac represented. Tupac was trying to build a place of belonging for the misunderstood culture of THUG LIFE. Tupac is a symbol of good rap. Tupac accomplished very much in in his lifetime and if you dislike rap do not vent your frustrations on a talented artist like Tupac. No matter what you say you can never take away what Tupac has accomplished and the kindness he's given to the masses that support him. R.I.P

Tupac's Poetry
The Rose that Grew from Concrete
Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.
Ambition Over Adversity
Take one's adversity
Learn from their misfortune
Learn from their pain
Believe in something
Believe in yourself
Turn adversity into ambition
Now blossom into wealth
In the Event of My Demise
In the event of my Demise
when my heart can beat no more
I Hope I Die For A Principle
or A Belief that I had Lived 4
I will die Before My Time
Because I feel the shadow's Depth
so much I wanted 2 accomplish
before I reached my Death
I have come 2 grips with the possibility
and wiped the last tear from My eyes
I Loved All who were Positive
In the event of my Demise

A great rapper, actually past great, but is really overrated to the point where 99.90% of the world likes him and its rare to find a Tupac Hater. I'm not hating, I love Tupac (no homo) but he is just way overrated, there are a lot of other rappers who are on the same level, like Eminem yup thats right I said it, but eminem has 10% less of tupacs fan base which is basicly racism all because he has european decent and people view him as a wankster because they think any black rapper is a gangster. If Eminem was black and had the same skill he would have as much fans as Tupac. Eminem has a fan base of 89% of the world because of racism, Tupac has a fan base of 99.90%.I mean most of you guys would buy a Tupac album if he sounded like Hurricane Chris. Once again I'm not hating on 2Pac, if anything I'm a die hard Tupac, Eminem, and Biggie fan. It's just so many of his fans are, whats the word, DICK RIDERS!!!
2Pac Dick Rider: * gigantic 2Pac comment on the youtube vid comment box* OMGEE! Tupac is the best, it sucks that he died before I was born. 2pac rulezzz!!!! I know im gonna marry him someday in heaven.
Me: Go get a life you dick rider, Tupac is past great, but its dumbasses like you who make him look bad by spamming gigantic 2Pac's made out of different letters on his videos.
