The next Y2k. In 2038 all the computers will have the date wrong because unix time resets. This will surly cause the world to explode.

The end of the world.

This is when the unix epoch reaches 2,147,483,647 (2^31 - 1) this number is too much for the system to handle and then goes to -2,147,483,648 causing confusion

there is a backup by making it 64 bits instead if 32 thus extending the limit to happen in 2486
