This is what happens when you get skierd (scared) by something.

I get afeared of big storms and earthquakes.

A word used to describe fear in hillbillies or rampant homosexuals. Usually uttered as an excuse to get out of doing menial labour or leaving the house.

"But Lewis gone be afeared of the outside"
