All around the Wrekin

An expression to use when either someone has took a long route or when someone has took a long time to get somewhere.
It originated from the Midlands and is used due to the extreme size of a local hill called the Wrekin that is a popular hiking location

“We went all around the Wrekin to get here!” Or “Oh for god sake don’t go all around the Wrekin!”
