An Californian software company that develops and sells a variety of programs. Notable and recognizable products are the AutoCAD draft engineering software, the industry-standard Maya 3D software and its cousin 3ds Max.
A industry-standard 3D software created on 1999, originally developed by Alias and currently owned and developed by Autodesk. It is available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
In the past, it saw the widespread use of Maya on film and TV production. However, studios don't use vanilla version of the program in that tons of money have been spent for plugins.
