black scene kids

The person that wrote the last entry is flat out wrong...
A scene kid is a scene kid.
Wild hair, caked on make-up, obnoxiously obsessed with shows, either straightxedge or hardxcore, and usually has thousands of friends on a popular social networking site. Race doesn't matter. Tard.

see scene kid.

1: Look at their hair!
2: Haha yeah, they've got "scene" hair
1: Awesome. They don't look white to me though.
2: Mhmm. So what? Black scene kids are "scene" nonetheless.

Black Scene Kids

alright, lets not be retarted and write something completely wrong like the one that came before this. what the other one describes is black kids who follow the kanye, kidrobot culture. not necessarily black scene kids because to be a black scene kid, there is a different set of criteria.

Black scene kids are basically and overa all like regular scene kids. They face the same stereotypical scrutiny, only because they are black it is sometims harder, or more difficult to explain what you are seing as how the african american culture is still working on their adjustment to this kind of "change" in the status quo.

Black scene kids can follow the typical scene culture, or can stray away, sometimes they are labeleg goth's by stupid black parents/adults who know nothing about today's youth.

Black scene boys can have relaxed hair to make it straight and silky, but can also have a low cut/shaved head or a fro. Braids are not common. They can wear skinny jeans, band tees, vans, nikes, any ,kind of shoes and clothing that is typically seen in the scene culture.

black scene girls often relax their hair or if you were just born with an unruly head of hair, weave :/ which in my term is coping out (be like the rest of us relax that shit) it is not common for girls to go natural with a "fro" if you will. kind of erica badu ishh if u ask me, but it probably can be done.

all types of body modifications are popular among the black scene kid community. It has come to my attention that septums, monroes, and any other form of lower/upper lip rings are common as opposed to eyebrow rings. This goes for both sexes.

sometimes black scene kids are confused with "cool kids" which is something kind of similar that i wont explain.

if your one of those people who hate scene kids, you will probably hate a black scene kid too.

black scene kids can listen to all kind of musical genres. They, like normal scene kids, and people in general, are free to branch out their range of musical interest.

omg, look at those black scene kids, they're so fly.

that black scene kid girl is way hotter than my ex girlfriend. I love black scene kids xD

Is it me or are black scene kids with corbin bleu fros really hot? o_o

I wish i had the gaul to be a black scene kid :/

Black scene kids really throw down at shows , hot damn.

Black scene kid

A black scene kid is a scene kid of african-american descent who dresses in the fashion/style of scene and listen to music alot of scenester listen to. Including:

o Emo and Screamo

o Black scene kids may find that pulling off the look may be harder for them because the make up and hair often times are made more so to cater to people who are of fair or pale skin and straight hair.

o A lot of scene hairstyles require straight, flexable hair that, when hair stiffner is applied, will hold the often times, spikey or wild hairstlyes that scenesters wear. More typical black-american hair is curly, kinky, or 'nappy' and not straight.

o Most scenesters wear skinny jeans, like HelloKitty female, have their own unique picture poses and wear slip-on shoes/Vans and have many other uniquely-scene approaches to things.

o Alot of scenesters wear either dark or bright make up or clothing, that on some black-americans might not be so flattering on darker skin.

o Black-american scenesters may face a certain stigma from their community and from other black-americans because the style of "scene" is not very typical to the style of most black-americans. This stigma may also come from the closed minded approach that black-americans have to fit a certain stereo-type that is often times placed upon other black-americans by themselves and others.

Please keep in mind, people have the freedom to express themselves how ever they want to and should not be discriminated against because of such. Individuality is the greatest form of personal expression and if one chooses to be a "scenester" then let them be who they are.

**Please keep in mind, also, I am black. I am in no way shape or form self-hating, racist, a scene kid or anything of that nature, I just just feel that I know enough on the subject to post a definition. If you don't like my definition post your own like I did.**

Example of a close minded black-american's take on a Black scene kid:

"What the hell is wrong with that nigga? Why is his hair straight? Is that nigga a fag?"

Example of a closed mined black-american stereo-typing black-americans:

"He can't be black! Black people don't dress like that! That's hella WHITE."
