Bracism

Noun.

1) Strict definition: An irrational bias towards members of a certain orthodontic background. The bias can be positive (e.g. a braces wearer can prefer the company of its own kind, it's "Brace", or even another) or it can be negative (e.g. a person with orthodontic appliances can hate or resent others without). To qualify as Bracism, the bias must be irrational. That is, it cannot have a factual basis for preference.

2) Commonly intended definition(in America): A bias or intolerance that some people have towards those with orthodontic appliances.

3) Politically motivated definition: A justifiable reason to redistribute resources or opportunities between groups on the basis of braces alone.

a belief that a person's use of braces in their source code is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that bracial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular user's brace style.

Tom thinks i'm an idiot because I put my braces on seperate lines. Im sick of his bracism.

When you dislike someone specifically because of the corrective apparatus on their teeth.

Just got these on my teeth to fix my overbite...I hope I don't face any bracism.
