A play on the historical term "conquistadores" referring to Spanish conquerors of pre-colony America;

Right-wing, American religious fundamentalists bent on dominating non-Christian areas of the world, notably the Middle East.

"I think George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz, Donald Rumsfeld and all those guys are a bunch of Conchristadores, working towards another Crusade."
