a person who has entered the U.S. illegally, mainly from Mexico, occasionally Central or South America, and is a burden to society, i.e., here to commit crimes and exploit the benefits offered to legal citizens which are earned through paying city, state, and federal taxes. :)

The govenor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick welcomes "criminaliens," and wants to give them drivers licenses, jobs, in-state tuition, and housing on behalf of the taxpayers money.
