This magazine is so cutting edge! It's so much cooler than those conservative, out-of date newspapers.

The Cutting Edge

1- In the most literal definition, the edge of a blade that cuts and is sharp.
2- More slangy, the superior limit that comes with maintaining progress and advancing with the latest trends.

"We are on the Cutting Edge of technology"
"This cutting edge technique allows you to do more with less."

The Cutting Edge

A periodical distributed by the finer portion of the student body of Scarsdale High School. It rivals the school newspaper "The Maroon"; which is basically just annoying and pointless, The Cutting Edge has astute material and cheeky jokes which the Maroon lacks. Also, the Cutting Edge doesn't make articles about teen drinking, and take a picture from someone's facebook, and put it on the maroon. Fucking idiots.

The Maroon: "Underage drinking in SHS?"

Sean: *witty anecdote about someone sleeping with his friend's mom*

The Cutting Edge.
