The tradition of dressing up to end the week opposed to the norm of "Casual Friday." A typical Tie Day Friday outfit would include a button down shirt, dress pants or slacks, dress shoes and, of course, a tie.
Yo, we're ending the week on a high note right?" "Of course man, it's Tie Day Friday tomorrow!
