The word 'faggot', 'fag' is commonly used as an insult towards gay people and in general people from LGBTQ+ community. It shouldn't be used by heterosexual people, as it's considered highly homophobic and disrespectful.
The history behind the slur:
Gay men were burned alive on a stack of sticks, while being called a 'faggot'.

(referring to the way someone is dressed; boy that is dressed 'more feminine').
- You both are together, fucking faggots!
- Ye, it's disgusting!
(reffering to the gay/bisexual men being in the relationship).
- You should not say the f-slur if you are heterosexual! It's homophobic and offensive.

The f slur is a slur used against gay men, non binary people who are attracted to men and transfems. If you're not any of these, you have no right to reclaim it

The f slur is a word used only by the lgbtq+ community why because its used to make fun of the community if you say it and are not part you are the one who is actually going to hell and your something called ✨h o m o p h o b i c✨

The F slur (faggot, often shortened to fag) is a discriminatory term used against queer men, or ‘less masculine’ men due to often being deemed queer.
the word is based on the word for ‘bundle of sticks’, and although it is commonly believed that it is tied to the punishment of burning queer men (‘bundle of sticks for burning’), there is no substantial evidence to back this up.
The slur is homophobic, and while there are some cases in which it can mean other things (ie. meatball or cigarette (fag)), it is most commonly used as a pejorative term.
guy A: you’re a fucking f*ggot (referring to self care being seen as feminine, or less masculine, and therefore gay)
guy A: (i’m insecure with my own masculinity so i take it out on other guys i deem effeminate and therefore queer)

the f slur is an old derogatory word used against men who were not masculine or were attracted to other men.
if youre not mlm, nblm or transfem its not your slur to reclaim
i dont really have an example of the f slur but you get the gist
