A very ironic or cliche (cheesy) death or "fatal" mistake.

Me: Did you here about Bob?
Friend: Yeah, I heard he got fired from his job.
Me: ha! He got fired for jacking ten pairs of shoes!
Friend: I guess that his secret habit became his fondoom.
