Another name for God, is also coincidentally the name of a dude in the 1951 movie "The day the earth stood still" but that literally has nothing to do with it.
The term gort is used if you decide you would like to see God in the form of a Capybara rather than a wrinkly old man.

A liquor store owner or worker most definitely of middle eastern or Indian origin working behind the counter and yelling at trouble makers who enter the store.
We dressed up our boy with a rag on his head to convince the Gort at the counter to sell us some drank.
