Holiday Season

Some bullshit politically correct term to avoid saying the dreaded word "Christmas" even though everyone knows that's exactly what you're fucking talking about.

Anal uptight liberal American: Why, hello little Muslim person, I wish you a happy holiday season on this December 25!

Muslim: Don't you mean 'merry Christmas'? I mean... it's fucking Christmas, for fuck's sake.

Anal uptight liberal American: *head explodes*

Holiday Season

A period of time in which millions of people fight in stores for small plastic toys to give to their children. If one of these plastic toys is not recieved by the child, he will turn into a demon and proceed to destroy sections of the home.

The Holiday Season

A combination of Christmas, Hanukka, Kwanzaa and Ramadan all in one period of time

In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it โ€˜Christmasโ€™ and went to church; the Jews called it โ€˜Hanukkaโ€™ and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say โ€˜Merry Christmas!โ€™ or โ€˜Happy Hanukka!โ€™ or (to the atheists) โ€˜Look out for the wall!โ€™ ~Dave Barry

holiday movie season

These are the movies released during the holiday season. They usually are released from about the second week of November to the third week of December, sometimes even on Christmas Day. These movies are usually family-friendly (and often holiday-themed) movies but may also be movies that are Oscar-worthy. This and the summer blockbuster season are the two most important in Hollywood.

Family-friendly movies such as those in the "Harry Potter" and "Chronicles of Narnia" movies are released during the holiday movie season. Oscar winners like "Titanic" are also released at this time.
