Hotflag

(verb)
1. To render something better through misreading.
2. To misread something.

(noun)
1. A goth who claims "no one understands him."

The term "hotflag" originated from a tattoo on a goth's stomach that was misread. It supposedly said "nothing," but it looked as if it said "hotflag." Everyone agrees that "hotflag" would have been a much better tattoo.

(verb) I hotflagged his name as Dick "Cummings"!

(noun) Look! There's a hotflag writing slash poetry about threatening to cut himself and end this world of shit in the corner over there!
