The day that you realize that you are so over your ex boy/girlfriend. You don't even want to use them for a booty call.
I was hanging out with him and realized that it was my independence day, i no longer had any romantic or sexual feelings for him anymore. I was relieved.

The official day when patriotic civilians get to express their freedom by lighting up a dozen of rockets made of gunpowder and cardboard and watching them propel high in the sky, creating an atmosphere of a potassium nitrate-scented aroma. Originally fireworks were used to shoot down unidentified flying objects (UFOs) when they usually fly around during the period of July 4th before Thomas Jefferson and the rest of the delegates declared it as a national holiday. Remade into a hit movie starring Will Smith.
1: "The people from all across the country were firing their rockets into the air!" 2: "It's because today is Independence Day, all them angry folks wanna piece of a flying saucer..." 2: "Even though there is a one in a billionth chance that they would actually hit one..." 1: "Lol, at least it gives Americans something better to do, other than killing themselves."

When you try again despite the first result being abject failure. As seen in at the end of the movie Independence Day when Bill Pullman tries to shoot the alien mother-ship again despite the first attempt utterly failing.
After this girl failed to call him back, he tried to pull The Independence Day by calling her again. Unlike the satisfying ending to the movie it didn't end well.

Day where the BTS fandom (ARMYS) officially began to no longer be considered K-Pop fans. This was a huge decision made by the fandom due to the hate and criticism filled with jealousy that BTS and the fandom have been receiving from other K-Pop fans (Also referred to as Kpoppies/Kpop fans of other groups) for many years. BTS will still remain under the K-Pop category but with all due respect, it’d be kind to refer to the lovely BTS fans as just ARMY and nothing else. ARMY is also the biggest fandom in the world, making them stand out the most. Armys have decided to go independent and work strong with each other to help the boys achieve more and reach higher up to this day!!
