Fan arts or fan fiction with the Jily ship in it have James Potter constantly asking Lily Evans out, and Lily rejecting him.

Eventually, (if the ship is Jily and not another) Lily says yes to James.
Voldemort killed Lily and James in person on October 31, 1981.
