Hybrid of the words “moke” and Okinawan. Slang term originating from Hawaii to describe a person of Okinanwan (Japanese) descent who speaks pidgeon English. A moke is a rugged Pacific Islander. So Mokinawan is a rugged Okinawan who speaks heavy pidgeon English.
I can’t stand the Mokinawans who hang out in front of Safeway trying to talk to the high school girls.
A Mokinawan is Moke- Okinawan. Similar to a dumb moke but specifically of Okinawan decent. They are hairy Japanese people who have lived in Hawaii for generations and think that they are locals because of their broken English. They often live and work at the beach but may also be employed for short periods of time working as janitors, security guards, grocery baggers, or Walmart greeters. They rarely seen behind a cash register and never in white collar jobs. Mokinawans are often seen at bus stops making inappropriate comments to teenage girls and attempt to lure them into sex acts. However, because of the Mokinawans small stature, they are not usually much of a threat. Just a nuisance to society. Not be confused with Mokerownesians.
Kovin and Kimi should totally start dating. They are both such Mokinawans.
