Is speculated to be the brief release of endorphins when looking at a person or moment that becomes something different for a moment; as if for a second and only a second, they've transformed into something greater than what can be reasonably comprehended. The subject of Pelicanism can be referred to as a "Pelicant", not the subject of worship, but indeed - the worshipper.
True awesomeness is quick to fade, it is only what remains that is the apropos of actual worship, before that is just... you being a Pelicant. Truth be told, maybe I'm the only one who understands Pelicanism, as it isn't a word used too often.
