Plancha

Uruguayan version of a british chav or argentinian villero. They wear sports clothes, bleach their hair, mumble instead of properly speaking and love riding buses with their cellphones playing cumbia villera out loud so everyone can hear. Oftenly come from poor or working class backround, with some exceptions (just like wiggers).

"- Hey, I got my cellphone stolen last night"
"- How did that happen?"
"- A bunch of planchas appeared and kicked my ass for absolutely no reason".

cara de plancha

Spanish phrase used by Americans of Mexican descendent. Means chewed up face. πŸ˜– Something you would playfully say to someone who shows up with a sour look on their face. The phrase really translates to β€œiron face” but is meant more for a face that needs to be ironed.

What’s up cara de plancha! Why that look on your face? You haven’t had your coffee this morning?
