Princeton, NJ

Often confused with the university of the same name, Princeton IS indeed a medium-sized town in New Jersey, home not only to the Tigers, but also Palmer Square, and more importantly, a centrally located J. Crew. Princeton also holds the record for having the most ice cream parlors in Mercer County, which include The Bent Spoon, Halo Pub, Thomas Sweet and Ricky's. Weekend activities include attending football games, trying to sneak into the university eating clubs, driving the loop and sitting on the wall. Commonly referred to by Princetonians as "town." Considered elitist and snobby by most of New Jersey.
See Orange Bubble and Princeton for additional information.

Princeton, NJ

Princeton, New Jersey is the ultimate prep town. The streets are swarmed with entitled, self-absorbed kids, rich people, and expensive cars. PHS is one of the best public schools in the country, yet many parents still spend tens of thousands of dollars to send their little brat to either PDS, Hun, Lawrenceville, Stuart, or Peddie. 99% of the town is white, and all of the kids have played lacrosse at one point in their life. Despite the towns seemingly perfect and put together facade, Princeton is home to lots of parties and drugs. Although there are SOME chill kids here, the majority of kids will judge you based on which school you go to, what car you drive, and where your beach house is located.

Princeton is the New Jersey version of Greenwich.

Kid 1: Yo did you see that Princeton, NJ was in the news
Kid 2: No why
Kid 1: Someone blogged about the Jews vs. Nazis game that they were playing at that PHS party and it went viral.
Kid 2: Those kids have no sense of right and wrong.

Princeton, NJ

A common misconception of Princetonians is that we are all rich and snobby. While Princeton is home to many ice cream parlors, over-priced stores, and many restaurants, there are also some of the ghettoist places. Such as Palmer Square (where all the emo's hang out) Shopping Center, and the Library. We Princetonians do not appreciate being dissed like that.

Princeton, NJ is the flyest town ever to be created. It's like a little island of California on the east coast.

Princeton, NJ

Princeton is a town in New Jersey, although none of its residents feel that they are part of Jersey, and neither do the rest of New Jersey think Princeton is part of them. The University selfishly occupies the best part of the Princeton landscape (the highest point), leaving the lower land, which is prone to flooding, to the residents. Michelle Obama was right - people in Princeton are rude and pretentious. None of them would smile back when being greeted, unless you encounter a tourist or an amigo. What they say about D.C. "If you want a friend, get a dog" is true in Princeton, because people will smile at your dog, but not at you. Ironically it’s also one of the most progressive towns in NJ.

Princeton is also full of pretentious elitists, who never went to the Princeton University, but enjoy acting like an Ivy League snob. Princeton residents like to blame all its crime on Trenton, failing to admit that it can produce thugs and gangsters on its own. In reality there are two Princetons – Princeton Borough and Princeton Township. The duos have been a shining example of small town politics, which is the major problem of New Jersey. The 2 towns share many things, but their governments dispute everything, from the school budget to the simplest thing like free parking for the Princeton Public Library. The 2 police departments don’t like each other. The Princeton Borough, prided itself as β€œthe original Princeton,” has refused to merge with Princeton Township in vote multiple times. This unfriendly attitude results in government inefficiency, busy-body politics, and high property tax, which, however, is not alone in Princeton but prevalent in the whole state. The houses are ugly, yucky and over-priced. Its restaurants are just as worse - low quality, pretentious, and expensive. There is no night life, as there is only 1 bar in town. And certainly, no pretty girls exist in Princeton after Brook Shields graduated.

princeton, nj

princeton is a medium sized town in central new jersey, basically filled with elitists and not elitists. the elitists have money, own lots of vineyard vines and tommy hilfiger clothes, and the other people are basically normal. besides the usual breakout fight or kids getting caught juuling nothing ever happens. the center of town is just referred to as β€œtown”. the best things to do are go to all the ice cream places or walk in campus. go the the woodrow wilson fountain or to the football stadium. that’s where people make out. sneaking into frat parties is the highlight of a friday night.
