qualitipedia

A group of biased introverts that cause flame wars

Why it sucks
1. They hate sjws yet support Gamergate and act like them
2. 90% of articles have a reason listed as a synonym for offensive
3. They shut down wikis for causing a single controversy like the fresh/rotten Websites wiki

The only redeeming quality

1. Some pages are well written like the now deleted moral guardians page

Qualitipedia is good to read but not to source

Qualitipedia

A group of Wikis containing info about various forms of media, including TV Shows, Video Games, Movies, etc.

Most editors treated their opinions as fact and most of it was unreliable and biased. It was originally on FANDOM before moving to Miraheze following some drama.

Recently shut down for good on September 27th, 2022. And nothing of value was lost.

Guy 1: Have you ever read a Qualitipedia wiki like Crappy Games Wiki or Terrible TV Shows Wiki?
Guy 2: Yeah, some articles were good but others, not so much. I'm just glad it's gone.

Qualitipedia

Also known as Reception wikis, Qualitipedia was a network of wikis such as Crappy Games Wiki, Awful Movies Wiki and Terrible TV Shows and Episodes Wiki. Unfortunately, the wikis treated popular opinions as facts and put pieces of media that were liked on the bad wikis and vice versa, along with tons of nitpicking and toxicity. This wasn't helped by the fact that Qualitipedia was pro-GamerGate and had rather alt-right political views, bashing anyone that didn't share these views. On top of that, there was the Celebritards and Celebrismarts pages that criticized well-loved celebrities for petty reasons and praised controversial celebrities for stupid reasons. Originally on FANDOM before being shut down due to policy changes, the wikis moved to Miraheze and severely tarnished its reputation. Eventually, after several controversies and users leaving, the sites was shut down in 2022, with a successful RfC that prevented reception wikis being being made on Miraheze. While it still somewhat exists on a wiki hoisting service called Telepedia, Qualitipedia has been all but forgotten about.

Person 1: Remember Qualitipedia?
Person 2: Yeah, it sucked.
