(Kind of like "same shit, different day" or ssdd) When a person relocates from place X/is in a different setting & expects great things to happen, but this doesn't happen, much to his disappointment

Neil thought he'd become a more responsible & less alcoholic individual when he moved from New Orleans to the UK but basically, it was the same shit, different setting
