A dialect formed in the Shetland Islands.
Words which sooth-moothers don't seem to understand.
The dialect is dieing out because of all the american tv aired in britain.
Now mostly only old people speak Shetlandic.

A small group of islands north east of mainland scotland and has the most northernly point in britain, mucka flugga.
It is the indenigious home of the shetland ponies and Aly Bain ( fiddler ). They also have awesome football teams.

A small peice of land lost in the middle of the North Sea beteen Scotland and Norway. Famous for: Sheep, ponies, wooly jumpers, puffins, Salmon, Ally Bain.
In the Winter its dark, windy and cold and they celebrate the 'Up-Helly-Aa' festival, or 'Transvestite Tuesday' as it is more commonly known. The constant darkness means the locals never know when its time to stop drinking.
In the summer they celebrate the 'Simmer Dim'. An excess of daylight means the locals never know when its time to stop drinking.
Also used to describe someone who is inbred.

A group of islands north of Scotland just above Orkney. Not as good and generally just a hilly, heathery shitehole.
Imagine going to Shetland instead of Orkney, that would be worse than a sentence at alcatraz.
