Talyllyn

"Talyllyn" refers to both a railway and a locomotive
The Tal-y-llyn Railway is a preserved welsh narrow-gauge railway primarily ran by steam locomotives, which has been in operation since 1865. It was built along with a slate mine, when the slate mine closed, the railway was about to be closed too, but preservationists took over the railway, and refurbished the engines, brought in new ones, and kept the railway running as passenger service.
Talyllyn, the locomotive, is the first locomotive on the Tal-y-llyn railway, built in 1864 specifically for the railway, it is a Fletcher Jennings & Co Class-C 0-4-2 steam locomotive. (formerly 0-4-0, trailing wheels and cab added soon after)

Talyllyn is also the basis for the fictional engine "Skarloey" from Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends

Talyllyn began pulling her passenger train.
