Trigun

An Awesome Anime Series about Vash the Stampede, who is an innocent man that has a $$60,000,000,000 bounty on his head.

Vash, the Main character is a goofy protagonist, just trying to figure out who he is, and trying to get by. He is also being followed by Meryll Stryfe and Milly Thompson, two insurance girls from the Bernadelli Insurance firm, and they are trying to make sure that more Vash the Stampede incidents do not occur. However, the irony is that Vash does not put himself in danger, nor does he intend to cause such trouble, and he is an extremist pacifist, and refuses to kill ANYONE.

A truly interesting and heart-warming series, and is worth looking into, despite all of the fan boys.

Trigun is teh bestust!!!!!1!!111!!!!!!!one!!!11!!! - Major Fanboy who should actually think about the philosophy in the series.

Trigun

Vash the Stampede is a gunman on the run with a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head which has made it difficult for him to go anywhere without being chased and shot at. Every town he ever visits ends up being destroyed because of his pursuers, but miraculously no one ever gets killed. Meryl and Milly are two insurance agents that have been sent to find Vash the Stampede and keep him under surveillance so no more damage is caused. Meryl, who leads the pair, refuses to believe that the man they have met can possibly be the legendary gunman. This spikey haired, gangly, young man is extremely friendly, a pacifist, hates blood and suicide, absolutely loves donuts, and is a dork and a crybaby (far from a notorious outlaw). But there is more to Vash and his past than meets the eye.

Trigun aired on Adult Swim from 2003โ€“2007. There are a total of 26 episodes.

Trigun

A rather powerful anime about Vash the Stampede, who although silly (rather often), has a past shrouded in much mystery (all is revealed as you watch it though).
What makes this show truly great is the philosophy behind it. There is philosophy behind (almost) all anime, but Trigun's is one-of-a-kind.

"How do you achieve love & peace? Well, you have to kill. Vash needs to realize that there are times when there are NO other options besides killing. But the way he was raised is very contrary to that fact. Who knows? Maybe there IS another option besides killing, even in the most extreme predicament? However, we have yet to find that."

Trigun

A great anime series. Brilliant characters, fantastic plot, great animation, cool designs, excellent atmosphere. It's also so funny that even the fansubs make me laugh, and thats saying something. If your an anime fan and you haven't seen this, your not an anime fan.

trigun

An awesome anime with a lot of philosophy and discussion of morality. Vash is one of my heros.

Why do they teach Shakespeare in school instead of Trigun?

Trigun

One of the truly best anime series ever created. Its based on a man, Vash, who has the moral standing of Jesus Christ. He will sacrifice himself for anyone.

I personally, having no realigion, base my morals on the philosophy that vash follows. Not unlike the true teachings of the christian jesus. Though i have never seen a christian that tries to follow in the kind, loving, footsteps of their own messiah. Trigun is awsome
