USFL

1. A slang term of negative connotation when referring to a player in a fantasy football league.
This term is used when a player makes an obvious mistake when playing fantasy football.

2. It can also be used as a taunt or as smack talk when posting articles about other players in your league.

The term refers to the now defunct United States Football League and the superiority and popularity the National Football League (NFL) had over it. The first usage of this word dates back to the CHB Football League.

Dude, you forgot to start a Tight End this week. Why are you so USFL?

or

That player was on injury reserve all week but you started him anyways. Way to go USFL!

or

Hey USFL, hope you bring your appetite because I'm putting a big helping of beat down on Sunday's lunch menu.
