Yathantabok

A primordial pagan god worshipped by a small group of followers in the forests and mountains of northern Utah. Often depicted as a hunter or a warrior wearing a wooden mask with a crest atop. His cult often gathers and celebrates around bonfires at the summer and winter solstice as well as the spring and fall equinox with a special and closely guarded ritual for the latter. His closest followers are part of a tightly knit hierarchy known as The Seven of Yathantabok. Several stories are written about Yathantabok, including legendary tales of wars with other gods and of a Mythical realm from where he comes. These tales are compiled in a Religious text known as “The Book of Heroes”. It is Prophesied in the book that Yathantabok will one day come to Earth to Judge mankind and reshape the world.

“I’ve heard the Earth rage in the deep and the dust sift through the stones and therefore I know that the day has come for us to laugh and tremble. I know he will spill through my eyes and up from my bile and thus he will be born anew, Yathantabok, clutching a (blood) clot to his chest” -Excerpt from “The Book of Heroes”
