Noun; an alternative story line in which the events of the original story are told from the perspective of an individual or group that was in the original story, but not as the primary individual or group.

If "The Wizard of Oz" was re- told from the perspective of the Wicked Witch of the South rather than from Dorothy's perspective, it might make an interesting altquel.
