Translates to “like dick” but it usually refers to bad, terrible or other similar adjectives.
It is used in Romanian often to express current state of emotion or to tell someone how they look, also may be used to specify the quality of something.
“Masa asta e ca pula” = This table is bad
“Arăți ca pula” = You look terrible
“Mă simt ca pula” = I am feeling awful
“Copacul ăla e ca pula mea” = That tree is like my dick
