Clarendon and parts of VA Sq, Arlington, VA; parts of zip codes 2201,2203. It is an urban neighborhood in north Arlington near the Clarendon Metro station. Comprised mostly of low-rises, this lies between the mid-rises of Ballston and Courthouse. It is home to a dense collection of bars and restaurants. The bulk of which are nigh best-in-area quality. “Cizzle-Dizzle” can be said, quickly, to the tune of the Metro door bell. Technically, "Cizzle-Dizzle" refers to Clarendon, but in practice it also can refer to its adjacent "neighborhood" Virginia Square, because it no longer exists. The Virginia Square neighborhood was named for the Virginia Square shopping center. However, in the summer 1988, the center was, more or less demolished, to make way for the FDIC building. Thus, Virginia Square is the neighborhood known as the formerly existing shopping center. In normal speaking, to avoid confusion, it's easier to just say "party in cizzle-dizzle""where?""VA sqr metro""cool". Functionally, “cizzle-dizzle” is the area within 2 blocks of the Orange Line between Oakland and Cleveland.
"You comin out tonight?""where you going?""Cizzle-Dizzle""word."
