Derphead

A fool, empty headed, non intellectual. Often has a blank stare on their face and uses monosyllable, trivia, or nonsensical replies in conversation.

A: I thought this book was really interesting because the author writes about her own experience living in Ireland. What did you think?
B: Yeah... lots of Guinness...
