Desperational

Adjective used to describe an action or series of actions characterised by a feeling of desperation. Can be used to describe an event or series of events in either a past, present or future tense.

First coined by Australian former Rugby League player and current sports commentator Corey Parker during a game between South Sydney Rabbitohs and Western Suburbs Tigers during the 2021 NRL season on April 17th.

"Desperism" : The action of publicly ruining your personal reputation through a desperate or humiliating act in order to preserve a flawed ideology, statement of innocence or ill reputed corporate mandate.

Example #1: "The desperism is evident as John still insists that the world is flat even after seeing the photographs of earth from space.
"Example #2: "Despite the overwhelming physical evidence that proved beyond a doubt that Robert was guilty of the murder, in an act of desperism, he continued to claim his innocence without introducing any contradictory new evidence to provide credence to his statement."
Example #3:"A recent clinically study proved that new widgets produced by FLUBBY INCORPORATED contain lethal amounts of toxic substances. Despite these findings, in an act of desperism, FLUBBY INC'c president released the following statement... "Our products are 100% safe and we urge consumers to continue using FLUBBY brand widgets."

feeling, showing, or involving a hopeless sense that a situation is so bad as to be impossible to deal with. A desperate person is a person that needs or wants something badly. someone who is to hopeless and just gives up. someone who is despairing, hopeless; anguished, distressed, wretched, desolate, forlorn, distraught, fraught; (of an act or attempt) tried in despair or when everything else has failed; having little hope of success. (of a situation) extremely bad, serious, or dangerous.

Brock is so desperate he needs someone's phone badly to text his friend for help.
