DNFC

1. Acronym for "Did Not Fact Check."

A disclaimer or part of a statement warning that no attempt has been made by the speaker to verify some associated content for correctness.

It COULD (sarcasm) be used when the speaker wants to be honest about not having bothered to determine if their content is accurate or real. It MIGHT (sarcasm) help in avoiding giving credibility to questionable information, and/or damaging one's own credibility.

2. Acronym for "Did/Do/Does Not Fact Check"

An accusation or part of a statement insinuating that someone failed or often fails to determine whether their content is accurate or real.

It might be used for example to dismiss or discredit a statement, or shared online content.

dnfc is an abbreviation for dnf content / dreamnotfound content. it’s often used on twitter to warn people that you post dreamnotfound content, so that if they don’t like it they shouldn’t follow you.

person 1: look at this mcyt artist on twitter i found!
person 2: that's cool, but they have dnfc in their bio. are you sure you want to follow them?
person 1: yea that’s fine with me! their art is really good and i’m not personally against dreamnotfound.
