drotor

drotor:

A merged design of a drum brake and a brake rotor. Oftentimes the inner drum portion is used for the parking brake and the outer disk portion is used for standard driving brakes.

The mechanic told me, the reason my rear brakes and my parking brake are not working is because I need new drotors on the rear of my car.

I think you should tell him to upgrade them to drilled and slotted drotors, they last longer and stop better than standard ones.
