The correct spelling for the sound of a common fart, one that is obviously louder than a SBD fart but much quieter than a tear-ass rattler.

Pronounced: PFF-ft (emphasis on first syllable)

I was walking up the stairs at airport, when all of a sudden the I hear a "ffft" come from fat slob in front of me.
