Ghettofication

The opposite of "gentrification." Disinvestment and the creation of deteriorated property caused by lower-income people slowly taking over and moving in to middle-class neighborhoods resulting in the flight of the former wealthier inhabitants.

In Detroit, a large proportion of ghettofied housing was originally built for middle and upper income occupants. As the process of ghettofication occurred this housing was increasingly occupied by lower income people. The ensuing disinvestment caused a spiral of decline in this former neighborhood of gentry as mansions were subdivided into several apartments with impoverished tenants. As ghettofication increased the houses were not maintained and blight engulfed the neighborhood.

Ghettofication

The opposite of "gentrification." It is the bombardment of lower classes slowly taking over and moving in to middle-class and affluent neighborhoods.

The temporary work agency located in the slums of town is recruting work for the jobs at my workplace in the more affluent side of town, causing a ghettofication of our workplace.

Ghettofication

Ghettofication is the opposite of Gentrification. This is the act of horrible people, like Idaho Tweakers, Idaho homeless tweakers or generally any junked-up mental midget devoted to a life of emmotional immaturity and making America great again, moving into a community, town, city or state and turning it into a Ghetto.

There it is, further ghettofication, I see another RV with Idaho plates parking on the street, that makes it four RVs, Three Car houses and twenty cats.
