Gothique

Traditional, Renaissance-Goth spelling. The way someone of “True-Goth” bloodline would and should spell “gothic”. Despite sounding French it is only spelt in the French manor because of the European origins of the “gothic” subculture, it also gives it a mid-European royal sound to the word.

You, my dear are the pure essence of gothique beauty.

Gothiqued

A condition which develops when one has been reading too many Gothic novels. It is common for one suffering from such a condition to feel extremely excited about daily occurrences, believing that most of them have supernatural origins; and also to expect supernatural outcomes from simple activities.

A: Wow! You've got a great collection of books!! And.. all of them are Gothic novels!!
B: Oh yes!! I love the Gothic genre.
A: Hmm.. beware, mate! You'll soon become gothiqued!

Christian Gothique

A Gothique person who believes that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the crucifix for their putrid sins, so that they may go to Heaven, and not suffer for eternity.

Gothique actually refers to the style in which CHRISTIAN CHURCHES were built in the 1200's, referring to the dark but romantic look.

Gothiques usually see romance in the grotesque, and are most of the time introverted outcasts with artistic/poetic gifts, and broad insight that holds deeper understanding and thinking than the average person.

they are usually mellow, gentle and deep-souled individuals who simply dont fit in and dress differently, due to extreme liberation and artistic expression.

All in all, a Christian Gothique is a saint who dresses in mostly black, loves God yet expresses themselvses through their unusual yet wonderful talents.

Plus, Christianity is a very "gothique" "religion" due to its expressions of blood, death, spirituality, suffering, romance, outcast made heroes, immortal life, the radical teachings of Jesus Christ and His eternal love.

A real christian gothique would say: One who would suffer pain, blood and death for MY sins is someone I can relate to. I rather harm myself than another person, because I see my own imperfections (introverted, intelligent, martyr)

Fake "gothi": I hate the wrld hahaha lets go burn bibles and be soooo gothic! we can go to the graveyeard and eat peanut butter and blood sandwiches. oh, and i only listen to gothic metal and black metal because its GAWESOME! (not even smart, very outgoing, fits in easily, mischievous)
