Gownie

A scholar from one of the greatest universities in the country (i.e. Cambridge or the other place) who are looked upon jealously by townies, who feel inferior to the superior gownie intellect, and capability to write well formulated comments on sites such as this.

Scum who live in the Grafton Centre in Cambridge, and who don't understand the meaning of the word 'gownie'.
