Someone who is really nice deep down, but just doesn't make much of an effort as far as appearance or conversation goes.

Girl 1 "how was your date with Dave last night?"
Girl 2 "It was good, the meal was nice"
Girl 1 "Do you think you and Dave will get together?"
Girl 2 "I would but he's a bit of a half-pinter"
