Heteropansexual people are pansexuals attracted to the opposite gender only. The term was coined by social media users in early 2020 to differentiate from incorrect definition of pansexuality as "gender-blindness" when in reality it doesn't describe gender preference at all. A pansexual person can be straight, gay, bi and so on. Pansexual people, however, are attracted to their potential partner only after establishing rapport, connection or getting to know them, i.e. they care more about behaviour and personality than looks. Their attraction is to the relationship energy first, physical aspects later. Pansexuals are incapable of developing a romantic or sexual attraction to a person that doesn't posses desired personality traits regardless of their physical attributes like height, hair or eye colour, body shape, etc.
Heteropansexuals, like all pansexuals, still go for the more physically attractive partner when there are multiple partners available with equally pleasing personality but they will settle for a less attractive partner if the desired trait is rare.
Some of the traits that might be desired by a pansexual in their partner:
- intelligence,
- sense of humour,
- specific knowledge (e.g. literature or medicine),
- same hobby,
- being a flirt or shy,
- being strict or amicable,
- willingness to fulfil a specific fetish (e.g. sex in public, age play, etc.),
- generosity,
- supportiveness
...and many more.
Girl, that guy's heteropansexual - it doesn't matter how you look, what matters is how you look at him!
- Bruh, look at her, she's got it all - tits, ass and legs longer than your future!
- Nah, man, I'm pansexual. I want someone I can talk to.
- We're talkin...
- Okay, I'm heteropansexual.

you like the opposite sex, but only all of the attractive people of the opposite sex, not the ugly/unattractive ones
Hi! I'm a heteropansexual and I perceive all activities and experiences as sexual. I like the opposite sex and am not afraid to say I'm attracted to attractive people.
