Referring to a person who appears to be a hipster according to their aesthetics and mannerisms, but is ironically culturally unaware to their surroundings.

"It started off well. From the look of his profile he came across as culturally sophisticated and fashionable, but it turns out he was just a hypstocrite. His clothes were hand-me-downs from his fashion designer brother and his vinyl collection was non-existent. He even told me he thought instant film was out of date when I wanted to grab an Instax selfie."
