Someone who was an idol to a particular person or a group of people at some time in their past life, but is now no longer that idol.

Marques: "Hey, do you remember John from high school?"
Jason: "You mean the guy that boned all the hot chicks his senior year? He was my idol!"
Marques: "Just found out he has been married for five years, gained 30 pounds and went bald."
Jason: "Wow. He sure became legendtary quickly".
