There are many memes who have tragically died. Memes used to have a long lifespan, such as doge,grumpy cat, and other memes. They survived up to 3 years without wavering in popularity. Now memes tend to have a lifespan of a month if they are lucky such as Ugandan Knuckles and Moth.It seems the meme lifespan is slowly decreasing due to many variables including the now fast spreading of memes through Reddit,tumblr, and discord.
Meme lifespans have decreased over the years.
The time before a Internet meme reaches the World of Warcraft community, which over do and kills it within hours. Expressions may fall under this also if they become lifespan'd similar to the memes.
