A phrase used when everything is going great. Derived from the military phonetic alphabet for the letters "L" and "F" -- which here are used to abbreviate the term "Loose and Floating." The origin of the phrase is from terms used to describe the first dump you take in the morning. If your stools are loose and floating, your bowels are supposedly healthy and everything is going to be good that day. (As opposed to "Hotel Sierra," for "Hard and Sinking" -- an indicator that your turds went straight to the bottom of the bowl and you've got some kind of problem in your gut.)

Romeo Lima Foxtrot is an old army phrase meaning 'Run Like Fuck,' used in Saving Private Ryan

An unofficial acronym which, using the NATO phonetic alphabet, spells - G.L.F. This translates to 'Go Like Fuck' i.e. to accelerate to maximum speed in pursuit of a criminal, stolen car or other reason to get to a destination as fast as possible.
The term was first brought to the UK's attention in 1998 through a documentary broadcast under the title 'Golf Lima Foxtrot'. The programme asked wether the risk to the public by high-speed police chases could be justified in light of many deaths and accidents that had occurred as a result.
The police publicly denied that the term 'Golf Lima Foxtrot' was ever used, or that officers were in any way encouraged to take unnecessary risks when it came to high speed pursuits despite several police officers admitting privately that they were sometimes put under pressure to drive faster than they felt was safe.

Originally military speak, translating directly as “LLMF,” this became an acronym for “Little Lost Mother F**ker.” It was later adopted by the tech world to refer to somebody (usually non-technical) who is in way over their head.

I told my commanding officer the coordinates were: "Golf Oscar Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo Yankee Oscar Uniform Romeo Sierra Echo Lima Foxtrot." Thank god he never learned I told him to go fuck himself.
