Term used on the subreddit r/Femaledatingstrategy that stands for Low-Value males.
It's a term to describe a man who adds a little into your life, but doesn't show a lot of good values in your life to truly be in a more serious relationship with. He's not on the level of NVM (negative-value men) but still isn't one you'd want to be having in your life as anything more than a friend.
They are enjoyable company to have around, but they don't really make your life any better otherwise. Not really a person you can get deep with and talk about your problems or feelings :/
Basically kinda like the one guy friend that says "tmi" when you complain about having your period.
From a personal experience an LVM is basically that sort of guy that tells you he has a 'mad crush' on you and can be very sweet to you, but is toxic around others and usually ends up making you uncomfortable. You don't want to hurt this guys feelings, but you don't want to be with him.

An acronym, popular on Reddit, that means Low Value Male. LVMs are distinguished from HVMs by their unwillingness to spend lavishly on their female partners.
In simple terms, an LVM is any man that does not act like a Sugar Daddy.
Sugar Baby 1: Mike refused to get first class tickets for our vacation in Paris.
Sugar Baby 2: That's because Mike is an LVM.

Low Value Male, it's a term popularized on Reddit to refer to men that do not shower women with gifts, fine dining, and expensive vacations.
In practical terms, a Low Value Male is essentially any man that is not a Sugar Daddy.

An abbreviation for "Low value male" commonly used by women on the internet, particularly on reddit, to describe an individual that they believe is undesirable, which is either fairly true, or the user of the word is being a brat and the guy is fine. Usually plenty of comments agree with someone saying this about someone, no matter what.
Person 1: Brad invited me over for dinner at kfc yesterday. I bet it's because he can't afford anything else.
Person 2: He totally sounds like a LVM.
