Taking a dump, in particular a long stiff tubular type that holds its shape well.
In short, a fart. More specially, a fart that happens when there is an impending poop and the butt wind stinks because it is going around a turd.
If the breeze off the log is any indication, this shit I'm gonna take is gonna be gnarly.
the nasty farts you rip when you've gotta take a dump. smells worse because the fart is passing over the turd lodged in your ass. also known as an "omen fart."
i knew we'd have to pull off at the next rest stop, because shauna had been blowing off a log for the last five miles and i had to roll down the window.

Dusting off the log is what its called when you really have to poop, can't make it to a toilet right away, and you fart instead to help relieve the pressure.
During that meeting, I had to crap so bad that the only way I didn't was to keep dusting off the log.

those precious moments before your turtle head becomes a man and farts roll off of the log causing the stink to be a lot worse than normal.
