Paradise Lost

An epic poem written in the 1660s by John Milton and spanning 12 books, Paradise Lost is widely considered the greatest English language epic. Although it is about the fall of Man from the Garden of Eden, one must wonder about Milton - despite his world view of "God gave you free will but unless you toe the line you'll get pounded," he still makes the character of Satan a dangerously alluring epic anti-hero.

"Although Tom was put off by the seemingly incomprehensible Latinate sentence structure of Paradise Lost, he could sniff out masterful poetry like a literary bloodhound.

Paradise Lost

Epic poem written by John Milton, arguably one of the most important yet ignored contributions to literature and theology. Paradise Lost is generally opposed by fundametalist bible-beaters who oversubscribe to a literal, conservative view of God.

Milton portrays Satan as sin with a smile...

Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost is when you convince a homeless person you will give her a large amount of money or a place to live if she will let you do the Plastic Taco to her. Once she's wrapped up and can't move you just leave her there and walk away

Those bums fall for anything. I had her convinced id let her stay at my apartment if we did the Plastic Taco. But as soon as she was wrapped up I pulled a Paradise Lost and walked away
